Ducro 10 reel. RHW

Greg, I used to use Diawa Z 30 reels for this type of fishing, but I personally think that the Durco 10 is a better/more versatile reel that provides as much if not more ability than the Z 30. The lever drag pits it above in my opinion. But the price is amazing. Definitely punches above its weight.

Hi Greg, Just a quick note to let you know my experience so far with the Ducro 10 I brought from you. I was orginaly looking at [ other leading brand reel] for my [Other brand] rod but the price was completely out of my range. While researching on the net I came across a page that mentioned this reel, To be honest I was a little apprehensive as there seems to be a lot of these types of silver reels around on the net so I wasn't sure whether it was going to be good or bad. Now having brought and used this little reel I can now tell you it's my new favourite go to set for slow jigs and even bait fishing. I have caught a lot of snapper on it ( nothing huge up to 6.5kg ) and lost an absolute horse of a fish not far from the boat and it has preformed faultlessly. It casts beautifully and I love the smooth drag, it's still as good as the day I brought it. In addition for the cost of $ it has to be the best value for money out there. If you want please use my comments as a reference because I can't honestly see why you would spend double the money on a better known brand when you have something as good as this closer to home. cheers GK South Head, Helensville.
